Η οικογένεια ID. αντιπροσωπεύει μία νέα γενιά ηλεκτρικών αυτοκινήτων τα οποία μπορούν να διανύουν μεγαλύτερες αποστάσεις με μία και μόνο φόρτιση μπαταρίας. Αυτό βοηθάει να κάνουμε την ηλεκτροκίνηση μια ελκυστική εναλλακτική για όλο και περισσότερους ανθρώπους: είτε είστε από αυτούς που κάνουν πολλά μικρά δρομολόγια καθημερινά, είτε είστε από αυτούς που διανύουν μεγάλες απόστασεις. Όταν σκεφτόμαστε την ηλεκτροκίνηση, προκύπτει αμέσως η ερώτηση για την αυτονομία. Πόσο μακριά μπορώ να φτάσω με μια φόρτιση μπαταρίας; Πώς μπορώ να οργανώσω μεγαλύτερες διαδρομές;
Το 2019 τα ηλεκτρικά αυτοκίνητά μας θα βασίζονται στην πλατφόρμα ηλεκτροκίνησης (ΜΕΒ). Έτσι τα αυτοκίνητα της οικογένειας ID. θα μπορούν να επιτυγχάνουν αυτονομία από 330 έως πάνω από 550 km σύμφωνα με το νέο πρότυπο WLTP, ανάλογα με το μέγεθος της μπαταρίας και το στιλ αμαξώματος του εκάστοτε αυτοκινήτου.
WLTP σημαίνει Worldwide Harmonised Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure και είναι μια νέα, ενιαία μέθοδος δοκιμής σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο που προσανατολίζεται πιο έντονα στην καθημερινή συμπεριφορά οδήγησης.
WLTP range and realistic customer range
As the WLTP range is based on an average value from different partial cycles (city, countryside, motorway) and not on secondary uses such as the air conditioning system or heating, the everyday range can vary from the standard range.
For this reason, Volkswagen also mentions the concept of a realistic customer range. This is a range span that an expected 80% of ID.3 drivers will actually achieve on a daily basis – without having to recharge.
However, it is possible that the realistic customer range in traffic situations in the city is even higher than the maximum WLTP range due to the highly efficient electric motor and the high recuperation amount with stop-go driving.
Which factors affect the realistic customer range?
There are many factors that affect the range of your electric vehicle, such as the driving style – whether on motorways or in city traffic – heating or even the air conditioning system.
You can already warm up the interior of your electric vehicle in the winter or cool it down in the summer as it charges. This way, the energy for the heating and air conditioning system will be generated by the power grid instead of the traction battery.

Διανύετε καθημερινά πολλές μικρές αποστάσεις; Το πρωί μεταφέρετε τα παιδιά στο σχολείο, στη συνέχεια οδηγείτε μέχρι το γραφείο και το απόγευμα κάνετε τα ψώνια σας. Reliable over medium distances
If you travel distances of around 200 km every day in the field or even if you have plans to make longer personal drives – be it to visit family or friends, to plan trips to the city or to drive to lakes or mountains in the holidays – then the ID.3, with its 58 kWh battery and a realistic customer range of 300 to 420 km is the right option. You would only have to charge your car overnight every two to three days or connect it once at most on a holiday trip for 20-30 minutes at one of the new IONITY stations on the motorway.
The medium-haul driver uses We Charge to find free charging stations during the drive.
You can reach many medium-haul destinations without recharging at all or with just one short recharge. You can find free charging stations for this easily and quickly via We Charge, Volkswagen’s new charging service. There is no need to change your routes or the way you travel because you will most likely stop and take a break or two anyway.

If you want to cover even longer distances for either work or your private life, then the ID.3 with a 77 kWh battery and a realistic customer range of 390 to 550 km is the ideal solution for you.
